1967 March Soldier's Medal

No letter this time but instead I'm posting the many newspaper clippings about my dad earning his Soldier's Medal.  His heroic act took place in November and the medal presentation in March.

I can't quite read the name tag of the soldier presenting the award to my father and I don't see his name in any of the news clippings.  There is no "U.S. Army photograph" stamp on the reverse side but I'm sure it should be sourced as such.

This is my dad's presentation set, Soldier's Medal w/case (consisting of Pendant, Lapel Button, and Service Ribbon, with clip and bar.)  The reverse side is engraved Soldier's Medal for Valor.
