A brief review of the life of Cindy Lou Schnack Arsenault Coffell, author of this blog
I
started this blog with no clear understanding of what I was doing or
what my goal was. It evolves as do I. I am posting much of my
inherited family memorabilia in an effort to share with my extended
family. Cousins have offered favorable comments. There are also
several unrelated people who have an interest in my family for various
reasons and I enjoy their comments as well.
I grew up an ‘Army brat’ and have lived many places but have lived the majority of my adult life in central Texas. My children are grown and I now fill my home with cats and dogs. I have held various interests over the years depending on health and wealth to include the usual; reading, gardening, crafting, and travel. I have volunteered my time and efforts at the local animal shelter and the local public library. I worked at elementary schools as an aide and library clerk and finally as a secretary for almost thirty years. I took an early retirement in 2011 to care for my mother and step-father. Neither is with us today but my parents live on through the family memorabilia that I inherited. My current interest is genealogy which was born out of the desire to ‘do right’ by the many tubs of family artifacts that my mother passed on to me. I am an obsessed hobbyist!
