John Nelson Van Wagner

Died 7 February 1892 at Troy, Rensselaer County, New York

John was the son of Nelson Van Wagner and Mary Campbell Van Wagner. He was raised at Durham where his father was the owner and operator of a farm. John married to May Frisbee on 1 November 1871 at Roxbury, New York. They made their home at that place. John and May were the parents of two children; John Nelson Van Wagner, Junior and Helen F. Van Wagner. John Junior lived only three days. The family resided at Albany, New York in 1886 where John was a conductor. The family relocated to Troy about 1889. John was a member of Holland Society of New York.
