There were no letters in these envelopes but I thought they were cute and want to share them with you. Whatever was enclosed in these envelopes was mailed to my dad, Walter J. Schnack, from his fiance' and my mother, Irene Orvetta
Cole Schnack. The reverse side of the envelopes are what I find endearing. Can't you just imagine how very much in love she was? As far as I know, it was a first love for my mom. Although I personally did not know her at that time in her life, I can clearly picture her as happy and giddy with love and swelled with dreams for her future!
I believe that my mom has written names of songs on the reverse sides of the envelopes as well as 'code' for the time. I know that S.W.A.K. means Sealed With A Kiss. Do you know what the others mean?
- I.L.T.O.W.O.T.
- T.S.T.S.A.
- I.L.W.
- Y.A.M.O.A.O.
- W.W.A.P.
- W.A.M.L.
