Edwin was
the son of Edwin Charles Alnor and Dutch immigrant, Adriana Vandenberg Alnor. He was raised at Passaic where his father
was a silk company machinist. The family relocated to East Paterson, New Jersey
about 1930 where his father was an auto mechanic. Edwin married first to Eva
Isabel Sperbeck on 2 July 1938 at Richmond, New York. They made their home
first at Ridgewood, New Jersey where Edwin was a dairyman. They relocated to
Fairlawn, New Jersey about 1948 where he was a woodworker and later a plumber. Edwin
and Eva were the parents of four daughters, including Barbara Eve Alnor who
died in 2011. The marriage ended in divorce sometime after 1960. Edwin married
next to Flora Ann “Flo” Conrad about 1967 and, sometime after that, relocated
to Arizona. Edwin and Flo had no
children. Edwin was buried at Valley ofthe Sun Mortuary and Cemetery at Chandler, Arizona. As the husband of Eva Sperbeck, he was John
