Roger Jason Northrup

Roger was the youngest of six children born to Frank Abel Northrup and Florence Emma Jacobson Northrup. His father relocated the family to Walton shortly after Roger was born. Roger graduated from Walton High School in 1959 and then enlisted in the New York Armed Rifle National Guard. He was discharged from service in 1965. Roger married on 15 March 1964 at Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church in Downsville, New York. They made their home at Walton. He and his wife were the parents of three children; all sons. Roger died at Delaware Valley Hospital as a result of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. He was buried at Walton Cemetery. Roger was my fourth cousin once removed.
