Blanche was
the daughter of Nelson Irving Ells and Evelyn Zilena Butler
Ells. She was raised at Brooklyn where her father was a bookkeeper. Blanche
married to George Sinclair Fitch on 19 November 1902 at Brooklyn. They made
their home on Mead Street at Walton where her husband was a merchant. Blanche
and George were the parents of two children, Alice Evelyn Fitch and Agnes Miriam Fitch. Blanche was a member of First Congregational Church of Walton and
a member of the Mary Weed Marvin Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
She had been in failing health after breaking a hip several months before her
death. I believe she might have died at Delaware Valley Hospital at Walton. Blanche
was buried next to her husband at Walton Cemetery. She was the wife of my third
cousin three times removed.
