Bernice E. Alexander More

Born 29 October 1907 at Walton, Delaware County, New York
Died 5 November 1993 at Whitehall, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania

Bernice was the daughter of David McAlister Alexander and Jennie Belle Bartow Alexander. She was raised at Walton where her father was first the owner and operator of a farm and later a grocer. She attended Geneva College at Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and was a teacher residing at Walton when she married to Aubrey Clark More on 30 June 1932 at Walton. They made their home first at Fishkill, New York where she was a teacher and her husband was the principal at Union Free School District. They relocated to Rochester, New York about 1952 when her husband accepted a position with Kodak Park Works of Eastman Kodak Company. Her last known residence was at Phillipsburg, New Jersey. John More Association records indicate that she died at Whitehall, Pennsylvania which is about 20-miles from her last residence place. Bernice and Aubrey had no children. She was buried next to her husband at Walton Cemetery. Bernice was the wife of my third cousin three times removed.

The cemetery plot photo was obtained myself on 10 August 2015. I found no marker for Bernice or Aubrey.
