Harry Clifford Smith

Harry was the youngest of ten children born to Chauncey Smith and Aravesta Lee Lewis Smith. His father, the owner of a coal yard, died when Harry was eight years of age and Harry was then raised by his mother at 215 West Water Street at Catskill. Harry was a grocer when he married to Elizabeth Cook Spencer on 24 October 1916 at Catskill. They made their home at 5 Liberty Street at Catskill where he was the owner and operator of a grocery store. Harry and Elizabeth were the parents of one child, Elsie Southworth Smith. Harry was buried in a Spencer family plot at Town of Catskill Cemetery. He is John More Association Jean Line cousin #5.10.1.10 and my third cousin, three times removed.
