Died 24 November 2002 at Catskill, Greene County, New York

Michael was one of three children born to Austrian-Polish (or Galician) immigrants, John Hodor and Anna S. Mokszycka Hodor. He was raised at Catskill where his father was an odd jobs laborer, then an ice work laborer, and finally a railroad laborer. His mother occasionally held private home housekeeping jobs. Michael began working about 1930 as an odd jobs laborer and he was a building construction carpenter when he married to Elsie Southworth Smith on 23 September 1941 at Catskill. They made their home at Catskill where he was a carpenter. Michael served in the United States Army during World War II and was a Private First Class when discharged after the war. Michael and Elsie were the parents of one child, a daughter. Michael was buried at Town of Catskill Cemetery. He is John More Association Jean Line cousin #M5.10.1.10.1 and the husband of my fourth cousin twice removed.
