relocated to Walton about 1900 where his father was an acid works

and later a railroad trainman. William was a devout New York Yankees fan and
was one of the founders of the Walton Baseball Association. About 1905, William
played on Company F's indoor baseball team which played in the armory. He was
considered the fastest third baseman who ever played at the armory. About 1915, he became a bookkeeper for J. J.

was a bookkeeper at a creamery. They relocated to Delhi, New York about 1925
where he was a bookkeeper, and about 1930, they relocated to Mexico, New York
where he was a dry milk plant manager. They returned to Walton about 1935 where
he was a milk salesman. In 1942, he and his wife resided in Walton and he was
employed by Scintilla Magneto Division B Corporation at Sidney, New York. He was
a member of Walton Masonic Lodge 559 for 50-years and a member of First
Congregational Church of Walton. William and Annabelle had no children. William was buried at Walton
